Cognitive computing and sex?

The Future of Sex: Sensors, Cognitive Computing and Robotics – Forbes

This article popped up in my Google Alerts feed this morning…

I’ve heard that the second book off of Gutenberg’s printing press concerned subject matter that was considerably more earthly than the first. It’s a fun story, and if not exactly true, it’s directionally accurate … there were printed books with erotic etchings published in the early 16th century. Fast forward to 1994, and the New York Times was reporting that interactive videos at the Penthouse Magazine booth were extremely popular at computer trade shows.

Now this article from Forbes about a whole new batch of products, startups, and I suppose use cases.

If the premise of Patchen Barss’ book The Erotic Engine is correct, this could be the surest sign that Cognitive Computing is here to stay!
